KAAL meaus death. The person born under Kaal Sarp Yog passes through death like agonies throughout the life. The Kaal Sarp Yog is formed when all the planets are situated between Rahu and Ketu Rahu and Ketu are two modes of Moon and they are regarded as full-fledged planets in Astrology. They are considered as most dreaded planets. Rahu is the Dragon's head and Ketu as Dragon's tail. They move in retrograde manner. Rahu's result is like Saturn and Ketu has influence of Mars. Complete Kaalsarp yoga is formed only when half of the chart is unoccupied by planets. Even if one planet is outside the Rahu Ketu Axis there is no or anshik Kaalsarp Yoga.

This yog is made in the horoscope because of previous birth karma. It is related to the "pitra lok". It is mainly divided into two groups :

• UDIT - when rahu is at the upper end
• ANUDIT (Vipreet)-when ketu is at the upper end

Anudit Kalsarp yogas are less severe than udit kalsarp yog but shanti of this yoga is also adviced by the astrologers.

Formation of Kalsarp Yoga

• All the planets should be within the orbit of Rahu and Ketu.
• Rahu should be at the upper end and ketu at the lower end.
• There is no planet outside the arch.
• That there is no planet conjuncting with Rahu or Ketu.
• That all the seven planets should face Rahu,which is always retrograde.

Effects of the Kal Sarp Yoga

The native gets bad dreams and developes depression and this causes hurdles in gaining of wealth, bearing of children, causes disputes in marital life and may even cause death of the native. • Rahu in 6th house: upto 54 years of age.
